~ Enlighten and Empower ~

OPEN YOUR EYES
I am going to switch up today and have the story on Mayor Gray tomorrow. I want to address this post by Bennett J. Vonderheide, who has been featured on this site over the last week and is one of the subjects of the custody case series running on 5thestate.com. (Please note that his reference to “horns” is to a poster who has that word in her Talkback name. The two of us were often confused with each other because we both challenged the lies of the “men’s rights” poster. We are not the same person. I do not know who she is and I have never corresponded with her in any manner. I do, however, admire her posts.)
“Becky Holzinger - AKA HornieGirl. Preliminary investigation reveals she did indeed accuse her own father of sexual molestation. Oh Yeah - it happened 35 or so years before and she just remembered one day. YEEHAW!
Boy am I getting to know these poor sick women by their smell or what?
Seriously - I sympathise and have no harsh words for you Horns. I think you may have been a victim of the psycho-babble community.
Have you studied FMS= False Memory Syndrom.
It is a shame your poor father sacrificed his life to give to you and you have done all you can to devastate him. What a pity.
If you can find it in your self reflections - try to open up to what may have happened and put it behind you. Forgive as your friend recommended to me (previous posts - forgive - be Christian - leave it behind, etc) and go ask your Dad for forgiveness. Start a new day - you can have your entire life ahead of you and you will not have to feel this intense burning anger you display wrongfully in my direction.
Let me suggest you recognize it is you that has likely always had problems. It is the psycho-babble community which allows you to attack your father while it protects your record from getting out and revealing the truth.”
I am going to respond to this in detail over the next several weeks. Today I am going to post the new MSN story that ran on Teri Hatcher on April 7, 2006. I admire her courage and her speaking out. Do you think she should apologize to her uncle? My father didn’t sacrifice one single thing for his children. He is a nasty fraud with a hair-trigger temper who literally enslaved my mother. He sat in a chair and drank beer and was cruel and vicious to his wife and children while we tiptoed around the great one. He never said one nice word about anyone. And he molested his children. I will address your “False Memory Syndrome” later – but if you have read this site, you know what I discovered about my family. And my mother and father have not done one single thing to heal the horrendous wounds and damage they caused their children and their children.

WE HAVE A CHOICE
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – Teri Hatcher delivered a tearful speech in which she addressed being sexually molested by her uncle 35 years ago.
"Recently I had the honor, really, of being able to come forward and help raise awareness of some violence against women," the 41-year-old actress told reporters Thursday during a news conference to announce plans for the third annual Women's World Awards.
She was referring to a recent Vanity Fair interview in which she said she was molested by her uncle when she was 5 years old and living in Sunnyvale. When she learned in 2002 that a 14-year-old victim of her uncle had committed suicide, Hatcher approached Santa Clara County prosecutors.
After Hatcher came forward, the uncle, Richard Hayes Stone, pleaded guilty to four counts of child molestation in the case of the 14-year-old victim and received 14 years in prison.
"There are many women who suffer with these traumatic experiences their whole lives, and they keep those things a secret," Hatcher said, her eyes welling with tears. "They spend some of their lives feeling that the fault of things that have happened to them was something that they caused.
"These experiences ... leave us with a choice, a choice to use our experiences to enlighten and empower and change people's lives, and that is a choice I am getting behind."
The "Desperate Housewives" star was seated next former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, who will present the 2006 Women's World Awards on October 14 in New York. The event recognizes extraordinary women and their achievements in a variety of fields.
Hatcher won the World Actress award last year.
