INVESTIGATE TOTARO & MORE

Micah Stewart’s attempted homicide trial was postponed by Judge Madenspacher yesterday because two Commonwealth witnesses failed to appear. It is tentatively scheduled to resume on Monday.

Please very, very carefully read the following from the yesterday’s Intell article, “Stewart’s attempted homicide trial starts” (click here):

“Lancaster County District Attorney Donald Totaro convened a grand

jury last March to look into the case after investigators were unable to

solve the homicide.
It is the second grand jury convened by Totaro during his tenure and only

the third one convened in Lancaster County history.
Grand jury testimony included evidence Stewart repeatedly admitted to

killing Fry, 19, to people with whom he lived. Other testimony indicated he

asked his father to lie to support an alibi.
A breakthrough came June 16, when Angelica Rivera, the live-in

girlfriend of Stewart's father, testified that Micah Stewart described the

slaying to her, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
Based on the testimony, Totaro directed the coroner's office to take a

second look at Fry's remains.
The supplementary autopsy determined Fry died from multiple traumatic

injuries, including suffocation consistent with strangulation.”

CORRUPTION

State Attorney General Tom Corbett’s “Public Corruption Unit” needs to investigate District Attorney Donald Totaro. If Stewart had been arrested and charged in a timely manner, the current trial would not even be taking place. Because of Totaro, Stewart was free for a year and allegedly endangered other lives. This trial is costing the taxpayers thousands and thousands of dollars and should have never been needed. I will have more on the current trial and other reasons Totaro needs to be investigated this weekend.

The “Public Corruption Unit” also needs to investigate the spending by the Lancaster County Convention Center Authority. I am very serious. I will have more on that this weekend as well.

GO PENNACCHIO!

A group calling themselves “Lancaster County for Pennacchio” has formed. They meet weekly and if you are interested in attending or joining, call Jerry Policoff at (717) 295-0237. The group’s press release says, “The Lancaster Group formed, in part, to resist the pre-selection by the party’s national and state leadership of Casey to run against Republican incumbent Rick Santorum.”

Policoff said Chuck Pennacchio will be in Lancaster all day on Saturday, March 18, for the peace march marking the third anniversary of the war (see below) and other events.

CHICKEN

Policoff, in a phone interview this morning, said that four chicken suits arrived in Lancaster on Thursday! He said Casey has avoided debates to date because he says he is waiting to see who will be on the ballot. Policoff said that if he now continues to avoid debating, several Lancastrians will don the chicken suits and follow Casey around. I’m deadly serious and what a hoot! Yes, Mr. Casey, the chicken suits have arrived!

THREE YEARS, HOW MANY LIVES?

As noted above, March 18th is the three year anniversary of the war. The Peace and Justice Coalition of Lancaster is planning several events. At 1 pm a silent procession will begin at Binn’s Park in downtown Lancaster and end at the Southern Market Center where a town meeting will be held at 2:15 pm. Later that night, at 7 pm, a silent candlelight vigil will be held in Penn Square. LOOK AT WHAT THEY DID

I am going to switch up today. I had an unusually bad night last night. The incest story didn’t leave my mind. I slept for about two hours. The death of a family friend several weeks ago sparked several emails between family members and me for the first time in several years.

The quote above is from my brother, Tom, in an email to me dated February 6 of this year. These are the lengths a family will go to to deny incest. This is how far a man who criminally molested his teenage brother will go to to deny he is a pedophile.

Tom continued, “We devoutly hope that this demon gets tired and moves along, or alternatively you are able to confront it and drive it out.”

I am working very hard to drive out the demon of incest and the family tragedy it caused. I try very hard every single day. From “INCEST – A Family Tragedy; the Holzinger Story” in December of 2003, “We are desperate to believe that we had a happy childhood. We are desperate to believe that our parents loved us – that they would never do anything to harm us. When that belief is shattered, we crumble. I crumbled over Thanksgiving three years ago.” It would be much easier to believe all of this was the work of the “devil,” but it’s not. These are the inevitable consequences of incest.

WHO ARE THE PARENTS WHO DID THIS TO THEIR CHILDREN? THEY AREN’T NICE PEOPLE. THEY AREN’T NICE PEOPLE AT ALL. TO FOLLOW.

~ Investigate the DA ~

TOTARO MUST GO!

Lancaster District Attorney Donald Totaro must go. Cortney Fry. Christy Mirack. Glenn Wynn Robinson. Renee Binkley. Jon Eichelman. James Sneddon. Gary Heinke. Two grand juries in four years. And now an investigation by the State Attorney General’s office and his grand jury into Lancaster Coroner Dr. G. Gary Kirchner, instigated by Totaro, who alleges Kirchner gave his password to a “secure” county government website to an Intell reporter. Totaro must go.

SIT OUTSIDE THE COURTROOM

I was talking with a Lancaster attorney several weeks ago. He said that a good newspaper reporter would be sitting outside the courtroom to interview the witnesses who testify before the grand jury “investigating” Gary Heinke’s resume as they come out. Yes, that’s exactly what a good reporter would be doing. A good newspaper would send their reporter there to do just that. So why hasn’t there been a single word in the Lancaster Newspapers?

ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL

You see, witnesses are allowed to talk and reveal their testimony to the grand jury to anyone they want to. District Attorney Totaro doesn’t want you to know that, but it’s the truth. And there’s a reason for that. Because everything else about a grand jury is hush-hush and secret, and this is a democracy after all, and if the proceedings were kept completely secret from the public, the grand jury would be incredibly fertile ground for corruption and denial of due legal process. So, it’s absolutely crucial that newspapers cover grand juries. And the Lancaster Newspapers haven’t done a single thing except repeatedly print a lie. They have stated on several occasions that witnesses, by law, are forbidden from discussing their testimony.

DISGRACEFUL

Jack Brubaker of the New Era did it in his article on November 17, 2005, “Subpoenas rock courthouse.” He stated, “Under law, everyone — including prosecutors, jurors and witnesses — is forbidden from discussing anything specific about what goes on behind closed doors.” I called Jack. I asked him where he got that information. He said from the District Attorney. I told him it was incorrect. I asked him how his paper could keep making such a huge mistake over and over again (Janet Kelley printed it previously). I was mad. I told him it was "disgraceful.” Four days later the New Era printed the following under “Corrections & Clarifications: “In a Nov. 17 story, the New Era said prosecutors, jurors and witnesses in grand jury deliberations are, by law, required to remain silent. In fact, witnesses, alone, may disclose testimony. - The Lancaster New Era corrects errors of substance.”
